You are reading page Extension of the deadline for the licensing of the thermal facilities
The deadline for licensing and supply with the Special Operation Label of companies operating spa facilities is extended until December 31, 2016, as this deadline is provided and amended in the provisions of Law 3498/2006 and in particular articles 17 par. 3, 22 par. 1 and 23 par.1. This regulation has been in force since its publication in the CoC.
Prior to the above extension, the provisions stipulated the following:
17 par. 3 L. 3498/2006 “The companies existing at the time of the entry into force of this law of the above paragraph 1 are obliged, within one (1) year from the publication of the decision of paragraph 2, to submit to EOT. application with the specified supporting documents in order to qualify for the special operating mark. “
22 par. 1 L.3498 / 2006 «1. Those who administer or manage or exploit thermal natural resources have the obligation within three (3) years from the entry into force of this law to submit an application to EOT. with all the necessary supporting documents, in order to issue the decision of the Minister of Tourism Development on the recognition of the thermal natural resource in accordance with the provisions of article 5 of this law. “
23 par. 1 Law 3498/2006 «1. The persons who manage or manage or have undertaken the operation of spa treatment facilities, as well as all kinds of facilities in which spa is used and which exist at the time of the publication of this law, are obliged to adapt to the provisions of this law and the executive regulations within three (3) years from the publication of the law and the relevant implementing regulations. “
