Four new programs of the NSRF 2014-2020

Four (4) new programs of the NSRF 2014-2020 for the new Programming Period were published on Thursday, February 11, 2016. The four new actions of the NSRF subsidize Tourist and other SMEs up to € 150,000 for the development of activities through the implementation of an investment plan with a co-financing rate of up to 50%.

At the same time, existing Individual Businesses and Freelancers are subsidized up to € 25,000 with 100% to cover their operational needs, the purchase of equipment and the creation of new jobs.

Finally, registered unemployed (graduates and non-graduates) are subsidized for the establishment of new businesses from 25,000 € to 60,000 € with 100% financing in order to cover their operational needs, the purchase of equipment and the creation of new jobs.

More specifically, the terms of each Program are as follows:

Program Title: “Support to Tourism SMEs for their modernization and quality upgrade of services provided”, NSRF 2014 – 2020

Beneficiaries of Financing: Existing and new medium, small and very small enterprises * which are active in the Tourism Sector and have at least one eligible KAD until 31/12/2015.

Granted Budget: Projects from € 15,000 up to € 150,000 will be funded **

Co-financing rate: 40% ~ 50%

Deadlines for Submission of Proposals: The start of the electronic submission will be on 29.03.2016 and will remain open until 17.05.2016.

Subsidized Expenditure Categories: Building, Equipment, Promotion, Software, Transportation, Market Research, Certifications, Payroll, Investment Management

Points of interest: The subsidized budget of each investment project can not exceed the total Turnover of 2015 or the amount of € 150,000, if the turnover is greater than € 150,000, and can not be less than fifteen thousand euros ( € 15,000).

The 40% co-financing rate is increased by 10% in the case of hiring new staff for at least one additional (1) EME hired worker

A micro-enterprise is defined as an enterprise with less than ten employees and whose annual turnover or total annual balance sheet does not exceed EUR 2 million.

A small enterprise is defined as an enterprise with less than 50 employees and whose annual turnover or total annual balance sheet does not exceed EUR 10 million.

A medium-sized enterprise is defined as an enterprise with less than 250 employees and whose annual turnover does not exceed EUR 50 million or whose total annual balance sheet does not exceed EUR 43 million.

Program Title: “Upgrading of micro & small enterprises to develop their capabilities in new markets”, NSRF 2014 – 2020

Beneficiaries of Funding: a. Existing companies that keep books of B ‘and C’ category which until 31/12/2015 have closed two or more management uses or

b. New companies that do not fall into the above category of existing and have been established until 31/12/2015

and have until 31/12/2015 at least one eligible KAD.

Granted Budget: Projects from € 15,000 up to € 200,000 will be funded **

Co-financing rate: 40% ~ 50%

Deadlines for Submission of Proposals: The start of the electronic submission will be on 07.04.2016 and will remain open until 20.05.2016

Subsidized Expenditure Categories: Buildings, Equipment, Promotion, Certifications, Technical & Consulting Support, Salary Costs

Points of interest: The subsidized budget of each investment project can not exceed the total Turnover of the year 2015 or the amount of € 200,000, if the turnover is greater than € 200,000, and can not be less than fifteen thousand euros ( € 15,000).

Program Title: “Enhancing the Self-Employment of Higher Education Graduates” of the OP “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (EPANEK)”, NSRF 2014 – 2020

Funding Beneficiaries: a. Unemployed graduates of Higher Education, registered in the unemployed registers of OAED, at the date of submission of the application or

b. Natural persons graduating from higher education, who, at the date of publication of the Invitation, engage in professional activity related to their specialty and have no employment relationship or receive an old-age pension.

Granted Budget: Projects from € 5,000 up to € 25,000 will be funded **

Co-financing rate: 100%

Deadlines for Submission of Proposals: The start of the electronic submission will be on 08.03.2016 and will remain open until 15.04.2016

Subsidized Costs: Proposal Cost, Operating (rent, electricity, telephony, etc.), third party fees (consulting, legal & accounting support)

2. συνέργεια ή συμπληρωματικότητα μεταξύ των ειδικοτήτων των συνεργαζόμενων φυσικών προσώπων

The cooperative schemes are funded as follows:

  • 40.000 € for shapes of two (2) people

  • 50.000 € for shapes of three (3) or more people

Rental expenses are not eligible if the landlord is a spouse or relative up to 2nd degree.

The costs of creating a New Job are not eligible if the employee is a spouse or a relative up to 2nd degree (applies horizontally to cooperatives).

The newly hired person must be unemployed and registered in the OAED unemployment registers.

Program Title: “New Entrepreneurship” of the OP “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (EPANEK)”, NSRF 2014 – 2020.

Funding Beneficiaries: a. Unemployed and Natural persons who carry out professional activity or their collaborations / associations, in order to establish a new business.

b. Sole Proprietorships in which entrepreneurs do not have an employment relationship and do not receive an old-age pension

Granted Budget: Projects from € 15,000 up to € 60,000 will be funded **

Co-financing rate: 100%

Deadlines for Submission of Proposals: The start of the electronic submission will be on 17.03.2016 and will remain open until 27.04.2016.

Subsidized Expenditure Categories: Proposal Cost, Operating (rent, electricity costs, telephony, etc.), equipment, small-scale interior design, third party fees (consulting, legal & accounting support), Investment Plan Management, Provision, Seminar Insurance Contributions, Salary Costs, Depreciation of Fixed Assets

Points of interest: Natural persons who are either spouses or 1st and 2nd degree relatives are excluded from the corporate schemes.

Rental expenses are not eligible if the landlord is a spouse or relative up to 2nd degree.

The costs of creating a New Job are not eligible if the employee is a spouse or a relative up to 2nd degree (applies horizontally to cooperatives).

The newly hired person must be unemployed and registered in the OAED unemployment registers.

Business co-location is not allowed.
